Wow. I havent published a web log entry since The Naked Truth
. I dont think this place has seen such a long break in its existence, and I know for a fact I have never had so many unpublished entries before. This might be a trend, and then it might not be. Just for the record, though, this place is not dead. To prove this point, here are some updates.
My esteemed friend and colleague James LaBove brought back to life his Index of /unsorted/designs, which makes my pants happy. Be sure to check out his AcjBizar piece, which was supposed to become an alternate style for my personal site at one point, but didnt get finished until I made some drastic markup changes. ?
My ankle has been healing rather well. I had suffered inversion trauma on its ligaments only about a month ago, but Ive already been up and running for three weeks now. (Okay, maybe just up.) This could not be said for the time I had the same thing happen to my other foot, about three years ago.
My desktop pc has been harassing me with Kernel Error?s. (For the computer illiterate; this is bad. Very, very bad.) Since I dont have any income at the moment and cannot be bothered with unnecessary additional stress I decided to declare it dead for the time being, and start using my PowerBook full-time, which has been working out nicely.
Ive been working for my ba title at the kabk. This mainly involves doing research for my final project (a lot of math, physics, and programming), thinking about the design of my portfolio book, and writing my thesis. Earlier today, I posted my first proposal for said thesis, and Ill be discussing it on Wednesday.
Apart from work, there is always some room for relaxation. I have been enjoying Paard van Troje, Caf Paard van Troje, AStA, and the Haagse KoninginneNach 2006 like it was 1999.
I have also been pondering about the future/direction of this very web log. The reason this posting is not dedicated to my current ideas on it, is that I dont want to make empty promises. Just note that things are changing in my personal life, and that they are more than likely to reflect on my weblog.
