Today was a very laid-back day. I went outside to shoot some hoops with a friend, but he never showed up. Instead, a bunch of (rather small) children — one of which turned out to be a daughter of Barney — asked me whether they could join me. Normally, I wouldn’t be able to stand them for at least very long, but this day was different: I took the time to teach them a thing or two, and we even played some games.
At one point, I was playing with a girl (closer to my age), and her tiny little brother who could produce stunning amounts of sound. Even then, there wasn’t a moment where I was even slightly agitated.
I wonder if it’s a side-effect of the anxiety management and its relaxation techniques. … Scarry though, but not an entirely unpleasant experience.
