Yesterday night, I attended the birthday party of a classmate from the academy. It was around four when everybody went home and the host appeared to be ready for bed, but as usual this particular friend of mine and I were just getting started. Thus, we decided to follow a similar routine as we did about two weeks earlier (Around ten; not according to plan
).
This time, though, we didnt go to any bar, but went straight for the hot chicken. Super hot chicken
, this time. (For variation.) It was at least equally good. This time, we were asked to leave a bit sooner than the last time (then again, they had already cleaned up the place that time), so we decided to chill at my friends place a bit.
I dont know at what time I got home exactly, but when I hit the sack, I realized I only had a couple of hours sleep left before I had to go and attend my second anxiety management (paniekmanagement
) session. Even then, I couldnt manage to fall asleep, so I basically just lay there for a couple of hours before heading to PsyQ. (Gotta love that new name.)
Not sleeping at all often increases my overall anxiety level, as does attending psycho-medical sessions. However, I felt surprisingly. Frankly, I was laughing my ass off. (Then again, this session was about focussing on a positive moment in order to control approaching anxiety).
Right after my session, I was invited to the movies by a friend because a film was playing that has her sister in it. I thinkt thats awesome, but even though the morning went well, I didnt consider myself to up for that quite yet (sitting still for so long). Oh well, a few more weeks. ?
