From 14" to 17" in one week!

Due to a lack of money, too much bad luck, and general lazyness, I've been stuck on a 14" monitor (that wasn't even mine) for a couple of years. The biggest problem, though, was not its size — it was its resolution. 800 x 600 just doesn't cut it — especially when you're a graphic designer of sorts.

A few days ago, it looked like things were going to change drastically (on the computer screen field, that is), but they were fucking up at the store. Today, my mom went back to the store while I was sleeping, in order to pick up the monitor that was supposed to be there. As it appeared though, they were fucking up still/again. This time my mom got angree, which scared them and made them call to other branch establishments. Luckaly, they did have the computer screen in stock, and they invited my mom to come and pick it up, which she did.

Right now, I'm drinking cold coffee (and writing this, of course), because I've been too busy humping my new toy. For the savvy: it's a Benq FP731. For the less savvy: it's mad sexy, and affordable too. I'll be back at humping my 17" LCD Monitor now.

Thank you.

I remember how happy I was when I moved from my old 14" OEM monitor to a decent 17". Good times!

I hope it came with a decent warranty and a big box of kleenex. ;p

Haha. Well, I do have a 3-year warrant, but it doesn't say anything about damage caused by humping. I'll just be carefull, I guess.

By the way, I love what you did with your site (or is it something that's been there, but only available to elite monitors like the one I'm using right now?).

I haven't done anything to the code on my site in a while (or posted anything for that matter...hehe), so there must be hidden elite monitor code that I was unaware of. ;p

What is different about it now for you?

The greens and the background pattern. It's probably this monitor though — I've noticed your site is not the only one that looks better all of a sudden.
