Last night was nothing to be afraid off � I didn't have much trouble getting asleep, and I didn't have angst like I did the night before. I got up around 4 in the afternoon again, had dinner, and played basketball for the rest of the day.
I didn't play well, but that had little to do with bad weather or not feeling well myself � because those conditions were pretty good, actually � but more with the players I played with and against. I noticed before that I play best when I'm playing against very good players (as in, professionals) � and I can hardly say that about the people I played against today. I noticed the same thing with Enrique � he too was playing crap (or not taking anything serious, rather), while I've seen him do crazy shit against the best players around.
Even though I didn't really perform anything earthshattering, I stayed out on the basketball court(s) for a long time � just shotting some hoops, enjoying the fresh air (as far as fresh goes in a city like this... which is not very far), and chitchatting with people. I talked about adult movie stars with Enrique (he claims to have met Nadia Nyce ... Damn him!), I talked about art sites and tv shows with Peter Verheul, and I talked about how not normal
we are with Mikey.
In other news: both Brian as Scummie have provided me a link to scans of Katja Schuurman in Playboy. I thought this was very considerate of them, and that it'd be impolite if I were to keep it to myself.
