ACJ Introduces an HTML Logo

Things always go a bit faster on the internet. Except change. We just do the same things over and over again … a lot … and really fast.

So in true Web fashion, I present to you: An HTML Logo. Why? Because the HTML5 Logo presented by the World Wide Web Consortium two days ago [1] is old. Why? Because the Web Hypertext Application Technology Working Group says HTML5 is old [2], and they’re right. So, without further ado:

The logo might appear white, light grey, light blue, or black. None of that is correct: It’s transparent. It’s inspired by minimalism, nihilism, alcoholism (or rather, some of its side-effects), and pink unicorns.

So if you want to show that you’re using the latest, hippest, most high-tech markup available, and want to leave those old HTML5 losers in the dust, you should definitely put this logo on your website or iSomething application.

Holy crap! I even started “blogging” (I still hate that “word”) for the occassion again. Will I keep doing this? Probably not. Eventually I will hate this very entry. Actually, I hate it already. Please leave.
