Chinese

As Italians seemed to be taking over my life one and a half years ago, this time things seem to be in the light of China: my latest weblog entry, Two Minutes, was my first that was written in Chinese; last Friday, my friend Jaron got on a 17 hour flight to China (where hell be staying for a month); and yesterday, my friend Roos and I made a Chinese dinner.

We picked three recipies from some cookbooks, went shopping for ingredients (some of which we had never heard of before) for about three hours in the Chinatown of the Hague, and had a lot of fun putting everything together. We had two friends from the art academy come over to help us eat it. It was quite nice, but could be a bit more spicy (even though we had been pretty generous compared to what the books were saying).

Originally, I had planned to head home right after dinner because I had (read; have) a lot of work to do, but I was having far too good a time. Many bottles of wine (and some crapa) later, I finally headed home it was about 2 a.m.
