Spring Wonderland

Posted
March 2 2005

Even though the (meteorological) spring started yesterday, it has been snowing like crazy. In fact, it hasnt snowed this hard around here for over twenty years: up to two feet in some places.

I woke up much earlier than usual today (6:11a.m.). I noticed the light in my room being different (a lot more intense, for starters). I opened the blindings, looked outside, and laid my head to rest again realized what I just saw (or didnt see), and looked outside again. The earth and sky appeared to have become one. I rubbed my eyes, allowed myself to become more concious, and looked a third time: ah, snow Jesus, and how!

Since I didnt have to het ready for work for another two hours, I closed the blindings (the reflection of the snow was lighting my room), and went back to sleep. A few hours later, I got out of bed and ready for work. On my way to work, it was still snowing, but very hard (not all that unpleasant). The snow beneath my feeth however, was amazing: the only time I saw more snow than this, was when I went skiing in Austria.

Hmm Theres only so much I can say about my recent snow-adventures. Id show some pictures, but I (still) dont have a digital camera. Hmm Heres some links! ?

New, err, design! <Anne's Weblog about Markup & Style>
Come on Anne, you can be honest with us: your site is burried under a stack of snow, isnt it? (Just kidding; your minimalistic approach has my blessings.)
