I went to apply for an internship at n|p|k industrial design in Leiden today.
The trip by train wasn�t exactly a lot of fun: there�s still some anxiety, but I sat through it anyway. The application was much more fun. The lady was very nice, and she appeared to like the physical (opposed to digital) portfolio I had put together over the weekend because I was asked to bring one by email. I think I left a fairly good impression, and was, on my turn, impressed with the work they had on display.
I didn�t get the job right away though. They have a few more people applying (one of my classmates, Dwi, actually came in to apply when I left), and they�re going to choose one over the coming week. I�ll hear from them again once they�ve made up their mind.
I got an email from 2D3D and TelDesign, respectively, telling me they already have somebody for the job. Too bad � a place within this city would be ideal.
