My mom is in love

This is so weird. When I got home after playing basketball all day, I found my mom and some guy, sitting on the couch in the living room, listening to sweet music and being all giggly. They looked like adolescents that are in love for the first time. By this I mean no disrespect what so ever I'm very happy for her it's just... I don't think I that giggly when I'm in love, and these people are in their forties.

It all started a few weeks ago, when my mom was at a friend's house. The apartment of said friend was getting a paint job. It appeared that my mom had a great time with the painter guy. She was all full of how they joked around, agreed on many topics, and on how my mom had been bold enough to dare him to call her.

A couple of days ago, he did call, and they decided to meet up next Saturday. My mom had been completely stressed out by it the days after because it's been a long time since a new person had come in her life, let alone a — dare we say — boyfriend? I've been trying to convince her that it's way cool and nothing but fun and then some more positive things, but she was still rather insecure.

Today was it then. I don't know when the guy had come to our house to pick her up, but they were long gone when I got out of bed. At first I thought my mom was gone shopping or something, but then I realized she had probably left with her date. I didn't think too much of it still, though, let alone expect to find a giggly couple at night.

After he left she told me how they had went to the forrest, the beach, some other city, went shopping... kissed. Wait. Aren't I suppose to tell you that kind of stories? Way cool though, and cute too.
