The Gurus Strike Again

Posted
May 3 2004

Not only have I noticed that Mark Pelgrim and Eric Meyer have been updating their respective websites (or weblogs, as some prefer to call them) more frequently, I've also been particularly enjoying them lately. On top of that (and this is a bit freaky, actually), my prairs were answered.

From a comment I left at Molly's yesterday:

I've caught myself looking for the comment/reply link more than once at Mark's and Eric's respective weblogs lately.

Later the same day, I find out that Mark has enabled the comment system again, but more importantly (and more freaky), Eric leaves a comment on the very same weblog entry, and (though not particularly in response to my comment) states the following:

... The capability is there, so I may as well use it when doing so makes sense.

That's right, Eric has a comment system. Woohoo.

...and then there's the redesigns. I was pleased to see Anne van Kesteren decided to drop the design that wasn't. Then today, I stop by at Zeldman's:

I don?t expect or ask anyone to link to this redesign—but if you feel moved to do so, please link to the colophon instead of the front page. Thanks.

Jesus. I think I love his new design as much, or perhaps more, than I hated (no offense) the previous.

Keep inspiring, and I might have to update my XFN from acquaintance colleague to acquaintance colleague muse.
