Meta{FOAF}

I've experimented with external meta data storage before. There's a FOAF RDF (foaf.rdf) linked to my homepage via a link element, and there was a time I had a RDF with DC data (index.rdf), similar to that of the W3C (Overview-about.rdf). Today, I got the crazy idea to combine the two. I now have a RDF file that carries both site-specific DC as a personal FOAF within it. It carries the generic title meta.rdf and is attached to my home page like this:

<link rel="Meta" href="meta.rdf" title="Meta (including FOAF)" />

I wonder how the various (limited?) media that actually pay attention to FOAF and DC RDF will handle this baby.

P.S. I noticed pretty much all the weblogs I visit markup time labels somewhat like this: 2 AM <abbr>GMT</abbr>. Aren't AM and PM to be considered abbreviations just as much as GMT or ESP? Wouldn't the proper markup be something like 2 <abbr>AM</abbr> <abbr>GMT</abbr>? I can see why one wouldn't care and not mark up abbreviations at all, but this I don't get.
