I stayed home and ended up in vectors

I stayed home again tonight, even though I was invited into town for a drink three times by (female) friends, and once to go dancing in Rotterdam. I figured it'd be a wise thing to do since I haven't been feeling too well lately, and tomorrow (today by now) is going to be a rather heavy day on the emotions too. Not only am I going to meet up with my dad (which is a very rare thing), I will also be seeing my half-brother and sister. The last time I saw them was at the lie in state of my steph-grandfather over two years ago, and that was only briefly. I'm looking forward to it very much, but that was also the case with the Night of the Blues 2003, and that didn't work out too well.

This night doesn't feel as one that is wasted, though. I added a photography and a painting section to my portfolio, and I'm currently working on a writing section where I will refer to my articles, tutorials, essays and books. I have also worked on some of the project pages.

I showed the latest additions to my website in the #mortalkombat IRC room on Webnet.org that I happen to co-moderate. Hyuga, who is a frequent visitor of MK5.ORG (of which I am the Fan Art Manager) was also in the channel at that time. He apparently got inspired by the picture of myself that I have on my home page right now, which more or less functions as a place holder. He decided to create a vector based version of the picture, and he left to do so. When he got back he said, and I quote, that he got distracted trying to remove the clothes on the new portman pics, but that this is what he had so far. I don't know if he's planning on vectorizing my head too, but I really like it as it is.

Hyuga finished the picture, giving the following result.

By the way, James Kryptondog LaBove made me a subdomain on sinewaves.org. Thanks, holmes.
