I just got home. The party in Leiden was very nice. A lot of friends were there, and there was a really nice atmosphere. Too bad many people had to go home early, and the party itself didn't last too long either. Because I was still feeling like dancing, I called a friend in The Hague to see if he happend to have any plans for that night. He said he was planning to go to Asta, which is a semi-okay place, not too far from my house.
I went to Asta right away and waited for my friend and two friends of his.
It took them quite a while, and even when they got there, we had to go pick up some stuff and take care of some things.
After hours, we finally got there.
We got passed the two big doormen without any problems and went in.
My friend and the two girls went before me and got through the metaldetector without any trouble.
As I'm putting my belongings on the table next to the metaldetector, a huge (about twice the size of the doormen, I'd say) security fuck head walks up to me and tells me to put my stuff back in my pockets because I wasn't going to get in anyway.
I was like: I beg your pardon? Uhm... why?
He told me I knew.
Which is ironic... I mean, why on fucking earth would I be asking him a question that I already know the answer to?
Oh, I see, he is right, I think I do know the answer.
It's because I'm white and I'm wearing a suit, right?
That must make me a racist.
A R&B party where 90 plus percent of the people is black is no place for racists... ofcourse... silly me.
For the slow: The big fucking irony here is that I tend to forget I'm white, because I do not fucking believe in "race". Nor do I judge people on what they fucking wear, I want everybody to wear what they fucking want to wear, just like I do. Looks like our little (ok, not really little) friend made a nice little (ok, that's not really little either) mis-judgement here, and that he's the only fucking racist in this whole situation.
Fuck racism, fuck discrimination, fuck narrow-mindedness, fuck assumptions, fuck mis-judgements, and fuck that stupid ape. And if you think that last comment was racist, you didn't pay attention in biology class. Apes can be as white as my ass. Fuck you.
